April 11th- "A Taste of the Coast" The Preview Party 6pm till 8pm EST at the Centennial Building in Port St. Joe: For artwork and books to be auctioned at the main event. All participating artists are invited to attend and meet the public. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
April 12th- "A Taste of the Coast" Art in the Park 10am till 4pm EST at Frank Pate Park in Port St. Joe: Contributing artists will be setting up to sell their work. A student art competition will be on display and judged; hands-on art projects and other activities for children; music for everyone's enjoyment.
April 12th- "A Taste of the Coast" The Main Event 7pm till 9 pm EST at the Centennial Building in Port St. Joe, consisting of restaurant tastings and art auction. Restaurants from Port St. Joe, St. Joe Beach, Apalachicola, Mexico Beach and Wewahitchka offer samples of their featured menu items; cash bar. Local artists as well as those from surrounding states donate fantastic artwork that is presented in the silent and live auctions. Photography, pottery, hand woven objects, and paintings are donated for the auctions. Also featured are signed first editions by a diverse selection of authors.

 The Beach Blast Triathlon and Duathlon

Beacon Hill Park is located between Mexico Beach and Gulf County. Not only do two beautiful counties meet here but also two time zones meet here. All times in Beach Blast Triathlon & Duathlon are CENTRAL!   
BEACH BLAST Race consists of 4 races; pick your race and distance:
Sprint Triathlon 0.45 mile swim - 15 mile bike - 3.1 mile run              
Sprint Duathlon  1.2 mile run    - 15 mile bike - 3.1 mile run
Olympic Triathlon 0.9 mile swim - 25 mile bike - 6.2 mile run
Olympic Duathlon 3.1 mile run - 25 mile bike - 6.2 mile run
All 4 races start at the same time, at the same spot. Swimmers and runners (after the first run on the beach) will follow the same course to T1, on the bike, T2, and run. Participants of Sprint distance races will turn around on the bike and run before Olympic participants will. Please watch for signs, flags, and volunteers to lead you. Having 4 races at once makes Beach Blast a unique event and great destination for a weekend on the beach!
